One step back in life does not exist

At some point in your life am sure you have uttered or at least heard someone you know say:

“I am back to square one”
“Now I have to start all over again”
“All it left me with was nothing”
“Why do I keep on failing?”

“It was just a waste of time”

Let me give you a gentle slap on your face and tell you
NO! STOP IT!
First off, get rid of that cloak of being a victim to life! It serves to keep no one warm, quite the opposite!

Second, there is no such thing as taking steps back or being back to square one, or waste time.
Unless you make it so! Unless you keep yourself blind to what you actually have been through!
If all you remember is where you once were or where you once imagined yourself to “supposedly to be” then yes, feel free to feel sorry for yourself and go hide somewhere where your negative energy does not affect the rest of us.

Harsch words? YES! So if you expect sweet-talk I suggest you stop reading because

I am not in this world to live up to your expectations and you’re not in this world to live up to mine.

You see, “going through hard times is like a blessing to the rest of your life (PiP)
This is where positive people separate themselves from the negative, “shit” does not stop from happening to them but instead of looking at it as something disgusting they turn it into something that needs to happen in order to eat again.

The way every action/event in life comes with at least one positive outcome is something I was fortunate to learn early in life.
That positive being the lesson of experience itself. That is how we grow, the way we learn to fall in order to catch ourselves better next time.
Life is not about avoiding falling, that will only make you scared to fall which in turn makes increases the risk of falling even harder once you do “fail”.

Every event in life comes with an experience to grow from” and isn’t that something beautiful. And who’s life’s history would you rather listen to? The one who never failed or the one who fell and got back up? Which story do you think would teach you the most?

This is my side of the story, some of my thoughts about the big puzzle we call life.
What are yours?

Love / Pedro
