To die and to reborn

Dragonfly in hand

A New year – to many the “death” of the old and the anticipated rebirth of something new, better, and brighter.
2020 will without a doubt go to history as the year of death!
Not only because of the endless update counts of people dead of Covid-19 but also and perhaps especially since something died within people, died within our community.

Fear came knocking on our doors and we let it in and kept all else away!

But still, people found love, discovered nature, and came to each other’s aid, especially to the forgotten elderly.
Still, children were born, still we found solutions.
Life did prevail.

Will then 2021 be the year for us all to, not only prevail but to truly be Reborn?

Will we dare to change? Do we even know what to change?
Or are most of us looking to get back to the same habits and way of living that took us to the tipping point 2020 proved to be?

Are you looking for solutions outside of yourself to rescue you? (medical? commercial? likes? money? etc…)

What happens when we stop looking at building muscles or putting on mascara when we stop to scream the loudest, stop to know or earn the most, all as solutions or rather cover-ups of the truth of how it is our inside that is truly bleeding and rotting away.

Me? I am so hoping for 2021 to be That restart for us all to, not only to start looking at but to truly start building ourselves and our community from inside out.

2020 to me was the happiest of years!
I found my love, we laid an egg and it was the year we built our nest for what I hope will be years to come.
2021 will truly be the year of being reborn while seeing the eyes of my first child being born.

This is my side of the story, some of my thoughts about the big puzzle we call life.
What are yours?

Love / Pedro
