Don’t live every day as if it were your last!
Did you have to read the title twice??
Did it really state DON’T live every day as it were my last??? 🤔
Good! Then I’ve got your attention!
WELCOME TO ITALLAND [it-all-land].
The land in between it all.
In Italland we don’t choose but still, choose it all!
– A cloudy gray day is just another shade between white and black and the waters are still blue(ish).
– Life goes both fast and slow but only when we think about it.
– We have all the time in the world to do anything our heart desires still we lack the time to do everything our heart desires.
In Italland we “live every moment as if it were our last”.
In Italland we “live all moments as if we would live forever”.
We grab each opportunity by its horn and choose not to waste any moment with second thoughts.
We choose wisely to see every moment as a possibility to build upon to get stronger and wiser and we never rush it.
We have our eyes fully open so we don’t miss a thing. We laugh and sing loudly and give full attention to the feelings.
We close our eyes and listen to the silence in order to feel the full picture and to see how it is all connected.
We feel free and don’t bother about what might be.
We take full responsibility for the reactions of our actions.
To choose to not choose or when to choose is not easy but at the same time, the easiest of things once mastered (and no, The nothing can’t ever be fully mastered and when you understand that then you have mastered what can not be mastered).
Confusing?? Well, this is where philosophy comes into the picture and I will continue to build on this topic in later “words by”.
This is my side of the story, some of my thoughts about the big puzzle we call life.
What are yours?
Love / Pedro
Words from behind the topic:
Living life as it were our last is beautiful, don’t get me wrong, but it can also lead to the misconception that we don’t have to care about or take responsibility for tomorrow.
This can lead to abuse of both our bodies as well as the relationships to those around us as well as the nature that surrounds us.
One of the philosophies I put very dear to my heart is the one about having a foot in both camps in order to see the full picture.
By also taking into consideration that we potentially could live “forever” or at least a very long time we can switch the mind into not going all-in with the “no tomorrow” thinking. Still enjoy it but also be mindful of building ourselves with each thought and action for these many years to come.
(even though I really dislike to refer to this way of thinking that linear 🙃)
